I recently received advice to focus on my life. To make myself a priority. Every time a man appeared in my life, I betrayed myself and betrayed my music. The first thing I’m learning now is to keep writing despite everything. Surprisingly, it’s a good remedy for heartache.
I just returned from my hometown in Podlasie, where, for once, it wasn’t boring. When I got back, I found a notice in my mailbox – which means more court battles are ahead. I’ll deal with it once I get a lawyer. For now, I’m focusing on personal and musical matters.
The first written track from ‘Co ty wiesz o samotności?’ (pol. What Do You Know About Loneliness) is almost done. I just need to write the solo. I love writing solos. My favorite part of creating music is the solos. I might also add a few piano parts for flavor. Now, it’s just a matter of sorting out the vocal booth, which is still a mess.
There’s a lot of material. I’m glad I’m regaining my strength. Life is designed so that if you allow it, everything will end well. You just have to let go of control. Will I meet the boy with beautiful brown eyes, who inspired this song, soon? I don’t know. I know we both will rest.
