Blog

Here’s the official Kotołak blog, and since it’s impossible to separate the artist from the art, it’s also my personal space. You’ll find posts here regarding both my music and general reflections. Kotołak, just like me, is not politically correct – not for snowflakes. I don’t adhere to inclusive language or genders beyond the binary. By reading the posts, you take responsibility for your own mental state.

Music

My life revolves around music, resulting in my solo progressive-metal project with elements of fusion and experimental music. Kotołak reflects my feelings and perception of the world. Each piece and album has emotions and stories intertwined, and this is the place to tell them.

In the Kotołak subcategory, you will find all posts about the project – stories, music comments, the process of creating new things. Here you will always be up to date with musical works in Kotołak.

I also want to express myself on other music-related topics here, including sharing my opinions on heavy metal and more.

Autist vs the world

This category contains posts about my autistic perspective on the world and criticism of both the support and healthcare systems, as well as the “neurodiverse” community and autistic individuals themselves.

I am aware that I live in a world created by neurotypical people for neurotypical people. I would also like to have a place in it without waging war against everyone and everything. I am not one to start wars… I want to build bridges so that everyone can thrive in our society. I am not a “typical activist.” I also address overlooked topics and express “unacceptable” (because different) opinions on this subject.

Due to autism, I struggled with gender identity for a significant period of my life. Therefore, I believe that there is no greater threat to autistics than the gender ideology and “treating” such delusions with transition. The majority of individuals retracting from the transition process are autistics deceived by psychiatrists and trans activists.

I want to make the issue more visible and the phenomenon more understandable by sharing my experiences.

Disability

I`m a disabled person… I deliberately use the term “disabled” instead of the politically correct (and unnecessary) term “person with disabilities.” Here, I comment on all topics related to disability, from the dysfunctional system to actual discrimination and the actions (both beneficial and harmful) of various organizations.

Go woke, get broke!

Political correctness is a foreign and completely unnecessary concept to me… just so you know – that’s coming from a former “snowflake.” As a former leftist, today I battle idiotic leftist ideologies that outdo themselves in absurdities. I would ignore the topic if they didn’t insistently try to dictate how I should live, eat, speak, and blame me, a despicable whitey, for all the evils of this world. And I don’t hold back.

Personal

My private space.

  • How am I doing?

Believe it or not, I’ve tried a few times to write something here. But every time I sat at the keyboard, my mind just went blank. After a while, I figured that if I’m going to have an empty head, I’d rather have it while Read More …

  • Where does this silence come from?

“Why are you silent, Lenka?” you ask. Well, okay, no one is actually asking. That’s one of the reasons why I’m not that active online – I don’t think anyone, except for me, really cares about Kotołak. Not that I’m crying over it. Kotołak is Read More …

  • Buying new toys

It’s time to start moving things forward. Yes, I know I’ve been saying that for a while, but progress is strongly influenced by money. What a damn surprise. Compositionally, everything is progressing, although I currently have some personal challenges that are really making it hard Read More …

  • Musician or Activist?

In my free time, I browse the internet. The content I consume is quite specific – it mostly focuses on topics like music theory, playing instruments, music production, and the so-called music industry. Sometimes, I also check out profiles of my (former?) online friends who Read More …

  • Working on the studio and new tracks

  • Work – Studio and Music

It’s been a while since I last checked in here. A lot has happened in my private life. In the public sphere, there’s been quite a stir around the Olympics… and unfortunately, not in a good way. How is it that I, a notorious opponent Read More …
