It’s time to start moving things forward. Yes, I know I’ve been saying that for a while, but progress is strongly influenced by money. What a damn surprise.
Compositionally, everything is progressing, although I currently have some personal challenges that are really making it hard for me to work. Nevertheless, another track has been completed and is now waiting in line for recording.
However, to make the recordings and mixes possible, I need new toys. These include new studio monitors, a set of virtual instruments, and a reflection filter for the microphone (since my little studio isn’t acoustically treated).
For recording, I’ll probably still be using tracks from GuitarPro, but I want the session to be out of this world. Of course, I still need to learn how to manage the drums so that each element of the kit goes to a separate track…
And if I could master layering… whoa!
Okay… let’s not go overboard. For now, I just want the mixes to sound decent, not amazing. To get that amazing sound, I need more gear.
My biggest dream is to have Logic Pro. I like Reaper, BUT… it just doesn’t compare to Logic.
When will the first mixes be ready? I don’t know… I hope to have it done by next month. As I said – I’m starting with singles, including ‘Mój orzecznik uzdrowiciel’.
