Finally! After months of stagnation and struggle, I have my own sacred place on the Internet where I rule, I’m not at anyone’s mercy, and no one will tell me what to do! Hooray! Creating this website was torture, both when I was coding it from scratch and when I turned to WordPress. But finally, it’s over!
Due to the lack of its own center of the universe, Kotołak stood still for a long time. And my autistic brain works in a way that it can’t focus on anything else when it has a puzzle. So all the musical work came to a halt. And since the website is up and running, it’s time to move forward.
I know the website isn’t the most beautiful… but it’s there! It serves its purpose. If I tried to perfect it, it would probably take me another 5 years. The only thing I had to give up on is the Newsletter. I know it’s silly, but I don’t have the means to pay for plugins that would do at least what I want. But probably someday it will appear, just like the shop.
I suspect that this website will undergo as many transformations as my discography has been recorded multiple times. For now, what’s here is enough and it gives me independence from the whims of big corporations like Facebook or YouTube.
And now I can focus on the music stuff… AT LEAST!
