Creating music is more than just my passion – it’s a way of life. I wake up in the morning and think about what I can do today to move Kotołak forward. Unfortunately, this fight is unequal. The reality of the music industry is brutal, and musical activities incur significant costs. Additionally, as a disabled person, I struggle with a regular cash flow and have limited earning potential. I cannot overcome my problems alone. Lone wolves in this industry perish. On the other hand, building a team requires financial investment, just like producing valuable recordings. If you want to join me on this musical journey and help me, you can find out how to do it here.
There are many ways you can support my work. Both paid and unpaid forms of assistance will be appreciated by me. With your help, not only will creating music be easier, but its quality will also improve. You will also help improve my life situation. Here are some suggestions on how you can support me.
Financial support
The most obvious way to support is through paid assistance. Money is the biggest obstacle in my artistic development. I need it to cover equipment, software, services, and further education. Without financial support, I will never get off the ground. Here’s how you can help me.
Buy my music!
It sounds straightforward, right? Because it is! Purchasing the album or EP will bring me greater profit than a year of streaming. Even if it’s a demo – if you see potential, buy it. You’ll always have access to all versions, so don’t worry that a renewed version of a track will be released someday. Buy once – have access to all versions. Remember – platforms don’t rob me of your purchase. It’s the simplest way to thank me for my work and appreciate it. Currently, you can make purchases through Bandcamp. In the future, there will be a store on this platform – but you’ll have to wait a while for that.
Put something into the tipjar...
If you value my work, you can support me with a one-time donation. Such a simple gesture gives me wings. Creating requires a lot of effort and time from me, and it’s very difficult for me to get something in return. It’s not just about motivation. Like everyone else, I have bills to pay and my own needs to meet. Thanks to contributions, my music will be able to acquire new quality, and it will be easier for me to make Kotołak my source of livelihood.
Become a pathron!
If you admire my work and would like to support it regularly, consider becoming a monthly patron. Patronage is not only an act of generosity but also participation in the creative process. As my patron, you will have access to exclusive content, invitations to online events, and many other benefits. Your support will enable me to continue pursuing my passion and grow artistically. Join those who make it possible for Kotołak to flourish!
Streaming
I strongly encourage you to support me by streaming my music. Listen to me, add me to your playlists, and share with others. I also encourage you to stream directly from this site, where platforms don’t take away my profit. Please don’t use ad blockers either. It costs you nothing, and you don’t deprive me of earnings from my work. Thank you!
Non - paid support
If you want to support Kotołak but aren’t ready for financial support, there are many other fantastic ways you can do so. Every gesture of appreciation, every share of my music, and every moment you spend here with me matters greatly. I’m grateful for every bit of assistance.
Follow me on social media!
If my work moves you and you want to help it grow, share it on your social media! Every share and like helps my music reach more people. Your support is crucial, and thanks to you, Kotołak can reach new listeners.
Promote me!
Do you run a music blog? Perhaps you have a YouTube channel? Or maybe you’re a presenter on a local radio station and you enjoy what I do? I invite you to free promotion! Blogging, creating YouTube videos, or similar activities are great ways to share what I love to do. If you’d like to share my music with your community or you’re involved in promoting artists and want to help me out, feel free to get in touch! I’ll provide you with all the necessary materials and gratitude!
Do something for me!
Do you have skills in video editing, writing social media posts, or graphic design? Do you have some spare time and want to do another good deed? I invite you to collaborate!
Tell others about me!
The best advertisement is word of mouth. Just tell others about me! Perhaps thanks to that, the Kotołak family will gain another listener! If you know someone influential – a journalist, radio presenter, promoter, or a member of an organization related to culture – be sure to share my story with them!
Play with me!
Are you a musician who happens to dislike writing music? Or… are you a musician who simply wants to help me because you like my musical vision? Play with me! My dream is to perform concerts, but even in the studio, your help would be invaluable! I offer royalty sharing for performances and participation in recordings.
Are you a music producer who wants to help me? Do you have a studio that you can lend me or do you want to gain experience by recording and mixing? I encourage collaboration! You have the opportunity to gain experience and expand your portfolio… or simply do something good. If you’re interested, let me know!
Are you a sound engineer with too much time on your hands? Are you an employee of a cultural center or cultural organization? Do you want to help organize a concert for me? Not only will you help me reach more ears, but you’ll also enable me to raise funds for further project development. If you want to and can help me, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you for your time and interest. Music is more than just a passion for me—it’s a way of life and a means of being independent from the mercy of my wonderful country. Every form of support, no matter how small, means a lot to me. Without you, this wouldn’t be possible. In a way, you co-create Kotołak by being part of the Kotołak community. I am grateful to all the people who walk alongside me on this winding musical path.
